The Stray Whisker is proud to present our very first Silver Tip Badger Brush.
This shave brush has been made using a high quality silver tip badger knot. The brush exhibits excellent flow-through and luxuriously soft tips.
Although the brush has a loft of approximately 55mm it still posses more than adequate backbone due to the generously dense knot.
The HG Silver Tip Brush may possess a slight malodorous characteristic which will fade after approximately 5-7 uses.
In order to expedite the process, we have included a sample of our proprietary TSW Brush Cleaner.
All efforts have been made to sterilise and remove all extemporaneous materials from the knot, we suggest you soak the brush using our cleaner in luke-warm water for 30 minutes prior to initial use. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat.
Further use will ensure the odour, if any, will completely fade.

This brush is well designed and the badger knot is superb in all aspects of lather making. The handle is quite solid and ergonomic making it easy to hold. The handle length helps keep the lather well away from where you would place your grip. The badger knot has very soft tips with the right balance of backbone and splay. It gives up the lather quite easily making light work and an enjoyable experience. No doubt in my mind that a lot of thought went into the design, making this an ultimate shavers brush. Such a quality product and great value.
This is amazing value for money - pampered luxury without breaking the bank. This was my first Silver Tip Badger brush after many years of using cheap pure badgers and boars. I've avoided taking the leap onto "high end" brushes for years think they couldn't possibly be worth it, but this has definitely changes my mind. The step up in terms of face comfort, water retention and lather quality is worth the price tag.
Never thought it was going to be so good. Any outstanding shaving brush producing loads of lather. I was able to complete my 4 pass shave. At end of the shave, the lather for 2 more passes left in the brush. I have spent unnecessarily hundreds of dollars on so called expensive brushes without any result. I guess this would be my only brush for life.
Excellent value for a silvertip badger brush. Appears to be great quality knot ( I have 2 other Silver Tips) and comparative with higher cost brushes of similar type. This is a big brush when wet. It loads very easily and holds a ton of lather. Good backbone for a large brush and soft on the face (as you'd expect for SilverTip). The brush on first wetting stinks!! No other way to say it (more so than my other 2 Silver Tips's did). The supplied TSW brush cleaner helped to reduce it by about 65%. The following 2 shaves have knocked the remainder away. Overall, if you want a good quality Silver Tip brush this is at an excellent price point. Recommended.
