OK, this is an interesting one.
Descriptions are surely limited by language so the best I can do is to share "the scent experience" of 1K. Think Darrell Lea Chocolate shops, chocolate Bullets and a few Musk Sticks thrown into the mix. When lathered, the soap blends into a richly rewarding experience.
Quite heady and intoxicating thanks to the vanilla bean, vetiver and hedione.

I love the smell of anise and licorice and this soap did not disappoint. Great fragrance. The soap is quite soft and easy to load. It lathers easily to a dense creamy consistency. It's slick enough for a close shave but the residual slickness is just a little down on some rivals. If you have enough lather for each pass you will have a great shave. Post shave feel is smooth and moisturised. Glad I took a punt on this.
I am really enjoying this soap as it has a very unusual scent that is reminiscent of the Darrel Lea shop when it was around. The soap is very easy to load onto your brush and lathers up extremely easy. The slickness, protection and glide it provides is really top shelf and the residual sickness is superb. I really am enjoying all the PAA shaving soaps as they are really reasonable priced and work extremely well. They are great value for money and the protection provided, although not as good as the B & M soaps, is still top shelf. I compare all my soaps to the B & M soaps and if they work well they get my tick of approval. This soap fits the bill and is definitely one that you need to have in your shaving den. I can very strongly recommend this soap.
